I heard the water was really high - like over the parking lot at 2-10. Is that still true? Wonder if that will help or hurt the fishing? Might push them north.

When I passes yesterday the water was on the parking lot but I've seen it that high several times.....never hurt the fishing.

Water has been high for the past 2 weeks.
My wife said it is about 2 ft. higher than normal in Contraband Bayou.

I passed the boat launch in Moss Bluff and the water was only a few inches from touching the pier there. This is almost 2 feet above normal.

The pictures shown on the news last night were not good......water was brown and kind of ruff waves..

But you never know when "exactly" the pictures were filmed....but probably resent.

Winds have been fairly calm the past 12 hours, so beach could clear up. At daylight this morning was dead calm.....which I was out on the water.
