Default 36hp GoDevil Surface drive

Do any of you guys know what the recomended transom height for a godevil surface drive mud motor is. I've got a friend that just bought one to put on his aluminum boat and he's gonna take it to my shop for me to do some work on the boat and transom. Im sure the transoms too short so just trying to get an idea of how much it should be before I start welding in the bracing that he wants. Thanks for the help!
