Brew Good day on the Calcasieu!

With school starting in Jeff Davis I found my self with a little time on my hands. So after dropping the boy off at school I headed to White Oak. When I got there I had to helpa Grandpa and his grandson save their boat. Got to remember the plug!!! I headed south and noticed the water was a little milky. Caught threr dinks on a pop r. Decided to head north and hit the cuts. I found good dark water and schools of small shad. I threw a Kipps willow and colorado gold bladed baby bass spinner bait and caught a few. I then threw a big bite bubble gum and june bug wacky worm. I kept 6 nice bass and 5 big goggle eye. They clouds came in at 1100 and cooled it off. It was real nice! I am glad I went! I will try and post a pic of the spinner bait and wacky worm.

Thanks for the report, I am still undecided but will probably head to White Oak in the AM...
