FlagUS Big Lake 7/6/2014

I hopped in with a buddy yesterday to possibly fish the beach depending on water conditions. We decided to run through the lake instead of the channel just incase. Decided to stop and see what was happening in a spot that's been producing. Within a few mins we seen some shrimp popping... and we had about 30 trout in the boat quickly. Talked to Clampy who said the fish were much better size at the beach so we decided to head that way. by the time we got there the water had gotten a lil murky... we managed to catch a few decent ones there but decided to head back to the lake to finish our limit. Pulled back up to our morning spot to find em still there. Finished our limit pretty quick and headed in. Beautiful day on the water.

45 Trout and a few sandies

we quit fishing sabine bc its just way to easy over there... they just jump in the boat. no fun in that. so we decided to fish BL where its a challenge to actually find any fish.
