Default Star Tournament?

With the Star being a month late in starting, how many people believe the weights will be down compared to previous years?

No need for those that don't fish or believe in the tournament to comment since we already know your opinion.

dunno....the spawning season is roughly April to Sept. Signs are pointing to a hot/dry summer, which means higher water temps and higher salinities, which could mean the fish will spawn sooner rather than later. Could be a lighter weights in Sept.

Also, fwiw, Big Lake is the only area of the state that allows C&R for STAR with added prizes for releasing live fish.

I would say heavier weights simply for the fact that in my previous years we seem to catch bigger fish in september and october rather than in june and july, but that could also be attributed to the fact that we wade more also.

Unfortunatley, we will only have 3 days to fish in October.
