Default V. Bay 9/20

Me and my dad headed to the bay today and ended up doing pretty good. Caught well at the cove, hammock, and dry reef. Threw lsu under corks and white/chartreuse tightlined. Didn't really seem to matter what you were throwing, just as long as you put it in their face. 42 specs, 10 or so keeper white trout, a red, and a flounder. Biggest spec was 23 inches with 2 others going over 20 inches. Should of had our limit, but we dropped too many lol We didn't even think we were that close to our limit lol

And the big spec with my dad was from last week. A solid six pounder (would of throw her back, but she swallowed it deep )

hey jeff, nice catch man. We were out there yesterday fishing that redfish tourn. It was killing me not to be able to fish some of the trout spots. I was kinda surprised we didnt pick up a few trout along the way though. I was out there friday morning too,and saw a boat right before the hammock putting a really big trout in his ice chest. Anyway, now I can get back to those trout. hah.

sure didn't man.. where exactly do you fish at over there. Is there a reef there or you just fish around the current that the point makes??

golly! Wish i could of been there for the reds! We saw one big sucker at dry reef that was all for the bullreds. I've only caught one in my whole life that i would call a bullred. Time for another lol Ya'll had some size to your trout?

we caught them throughout the day man.. they never really hit fast, but they hit consistently. We dropped a lot though. They were barely barely hitting, and you had to fish them right off the bottom
