Default Opener of dove season

So with all this rain coming who's gonna go and try to bust some doves tommorrow for the opener? Seen a bunch off of hwy 14 in a goat weed field the other day.

Got our limits yesterday from 6:30 to 7:30am in Waller west of Houston. Even better in the evening. Not saying that I went back......

Headed up to Lake Bruin in the morning & were hunting just outside Newellton, talked to the guy who owns the land at 5:00 & he said he couldn't point his finger without pointing at a bird. were ready!!!!

we normally hunt Saturday eve, Sunday eve & Monday morning & all 5 of us usually limit out each hunt. Day be's tick up dare!

One of my favorite seasons to hunt! Unfortunately, dont think I'm gonna make it out. On the bright side, the weather might be better next weekend. I wish you guys well.
