Default Holly beach update

Still poo. Water is good half mile out. Winds south 10-15. Ship channel water looked great at ferry.

Beach is getting close.

My eyes are pretty good. Water was good enough to catch trout not far from beach.

I was at beach for work today. Water was very calm but pretty dirty. The seaweed in the water looked pretty light but still pretty thick on the beaches.

Bump:

Whats the latest info on the seaweed at Holly Beach, in the water and on the sand? Planning to go in the morning; just don't want to load up and make the drive to stand in rotting seaweed and have it tangling on my line.

Thanks,
Mike

East of holly beach dead seaweed was still pretty thick on the beach near shore but not too much in the water. We started out by the rocks west of holly but the smell and very thick seaweed was too much for the girls and we didn't even get out of the truck. Holly beach area was bulldozed but there was more people than I cared to be around today.

Dang, that's not at all what I wanted to hear, what else ya got? LOL. I always go to the rocks west of Holly.

Work schedule about to get all kinds of screwy and don't know the next chance I will have to go so I may have to chance it. Heck I may not even a have a day off til August, much less a weekend.

Thanks for the info.

Mike
