1/2 duck hunt
Difficult shooting today with a 40 mph wind. We hunted on the coast south of hackberry in one of our blinds. We had to stay really late but got our 24. My son wanted me to post the picture of his jewelry on a pintail he claims he shot..

Sometimes you gotta grind it out and stay late... 9/10 times it pays off!!

I have found that to really be the case second split. Some late hunts for sure but there does seem to be a nice late flight.

Update on the bird for those who are interested. It was banded in Canada and hatched in 2012.
