Look alot cheaper made than the current ones. Saw some at the Elite event in Little Rock a few weeks back. Hopefully they still work and hold up as well as the old ones

Except for the color, they look similar in design to the D Series. No way they'll equal the Gold Chronarch SF.....best baitcaster Shimano ever made....Period!

I'm sorry, but i don't think shimanno could make a cheap quality reel. I fish, but nothing like alot of people on this site. I know for a fact that i've used alot of different kind of reels, but no one makes a reel like shimanno imo.

I agree,but when they stop making them in japan kinda has me concerned about the quality. We shall see
