My son (12) and daughter (13) both drew elk tags in a pretty good zone, so we're hoping to get to the range this week and practice.

We're planning a scouting trip next weekend. Went to the range yesterday. The children and guns are shooting well. My daughter is good to go out to 300 yards, and my son is shooting well out to 200. I am hopeful that a few more trips to the range can increase their effective ranges, as there are some wide open spaces in Colorado.
