Default 18 Dec 2009 Big Lake in the afternoon

My dad and my son and I left Ellender's at noon, fished the north end for two reds then went to the 1st set of weirs, caught seven more. All on sugar and spice gulp. Needed some meat so it was a good quick trip. Looking for trout in the morning. Water was foamy and muddy but looked better as we headed south.

Thanks, It was a good trip, you know, we had a limited amount of time and wanted some quick action and some fun, sure the weirs are nearly automatic, but's that's the abundance of Big Lake. Tomorrow we're gonna bounce around a bit and drift some reefs, look for birds and good water and try a few new spots....
