Drove out to my land to check on the wet conditions...got my freaking truck stuck:banghead:

Took out the ole shotgun while waiting on a buddy with 4x4 truck. Lot of dove flying but they wanted to fly where I couldn't shoot...still got one though, lol. For the Jr. game wardens out there, the beer was consumed after shooting.

Just thought I'd share...

Got limits yesterday, and the funny thing is that the rain didn't get bad until we had 2 more birds to kill. The first couple of hours ot there it didn't rain at all and he sun even came out, but the wind blew like a sack full of homos.

Another suck trip for the book. Thought things were turning around since my dad killed all week. Guess I am bad luck cuz we scratched again. That 80mph wind was terrible.

They scratched in my blind for the first time this year. We have no new birds in the area. I think I'm gonna take a break till we get some frost on the ground.

Know how you feel, been slow for us as well. Still seeing a few but they want the open water. Last 3 days we killed a total of 8 ducks, been quality though, mallards, pintail, greys and teal.
