I was just wondering who likes the taste which better between the two and why. Also how do you like to cook em?

Redfish grilled on the half shell, basted with REAL melted butter, cajun power garlic sauce and a little seasoning

That's exactly how I do redfish too. The best. I like trout baked in the oven with butter mixed with Italian dressing.

I like to grill bass or specks in a pan with a can of mixed vegetables, butter and a little bit of liquid crab boil. Half shell for the redfish is on point, like Goooh said. I don't have a favorite way, it's all good!

if the fish is fresh, never frozen, it's hard to beat fried trout right out of the grease.
for frozen/thawed redfish is the king. JMO.
