Check out these videos, little time consuming but will come out nicely when finished.

you can also use some large leaves off of plants or trees for stencils. Philodendron leaves make some nice big stencils

I've never camo'd something as large as a boat before, but for smaller things I've used a plan similar to the guy painting with the pvc pipe. Except for in place of the pvc pipe I'd use tree branches, leaves, sawgrass, etc...

Just put a random base coat of all the normal colors (olive green, teal, black, etc...). Collect various and sundry natural items (marsh grass, etc...). Then hold the natural items up to the base coat you sprayed on and hit it with varying colors. Sort of a reverse stencil.

Attached is one of the first ammo cans I did several years ago.

Josh, Get Totsie to cut you some stencils. I'm sure she has plenty of extra time.

We used to have better luck on the other end by the old 171 boat launch. Hadn't been in some time though.

I did mine this summer. I would try and get a sheet of mylar to use as your stencil instead of poster board. I say this because I used poster and had to redraw my stencil twice. (I was informed after I finished that I seems to work way better.) It wasn't hard just time consuming. Overall I like how mine turned out, however I would change a few little things. It was the first one I did so it was a learning experience. If you need help or have questions let me know.
