i get? to fish a tourney in fla this sat in this storm ....it is blowin like a mofo right now goin out in the morning with my dad and waterbowl to catch bait . i dont think me and waterbowl have fished in anything under 25mph winds EVER together!!! they said tides +4ft around here tomorrow!

I looked at the experts probabilities. If it makes landfall in Terrebone Parish...it doesn't take a "*" to figure out that SWLA will get nothing but a northerly breeze.

If your west of landfall...it really doesn't matter whether or not it intensifies. I remember when Georges made landfall in '98 just west of Biloxi. We had sunny skies and light winds here all day long with a major hurricane less than 100 miles to the east.
