Just do it and quit cryin'....

If you remember all my health problems earlier this year, just get it done and stay healthy.

The only thing I have not recovered from is the fact that I had to put my family through a team of doctor's telling them that I only had a 10% chance of surviving.

Having 12 inches of my colon removed, a month on life support and $400K in doctor bills means nothing to me when my eyes open every morning and I see my kids and grand baby......oh yea, and the wife also...

You will survive......I did.....by the grace of GOD.....

Dang, they cut you no slack! As if the "procedure" wasn't bad enough. Then you have to wait and fart for the doctor (or nurse)! The gonna try and make a complete mockery out of ya arn't they?

I had one. My dr was old school. He was just shy of retirement. No sedative no pain meds. I was wide awake. It was the worst pain I ve ever felt. Cold sweats. Little white lights. Two nurses holding me down. It was horrible. When I threatened to put his teeth down his throat he stopped the procedure. Needless to say I ve never seen him sense. Bad very bad ordeal. So make sure they sedate u.

Good luck Salty...we'll all prob have to do this at some point in time...depending on the new health care system...may have to get the Iranian Doctor Probe special, but pelosi's family will get top notch health care...sorry ranting. "just pass it so we can see what in it"...

I'm 35 and have the privilege to have had many of them since I was 17. The worst part is the prep the day before. My sister had one done today. Last year they found colorectal cancer and removed it in November. A little bit of discomfort from this test is nothing compared to what I've seen her go thru.

My doc gives me some great drugs when i have this done.
So i don't have alcohol w/ mine.
last time they had an IV started and he said we are going to inject this in your IV. I saw the needle in the IV and i was warm and out.
