Some guys were fishing 60 miles south of Grand Isle when they noticed something large floating in the water. They went to take a look and found 20 kilos of cocaine estimated to be worth about 22 million dollars. The fishermen called the coast guard about the catch. It is still currrently under investigation. Now that's a catch!!

this happens alot more than people think. the cocaine that's found has not been processed yet, and is almost pure in a paste form . bundles of marijuana have been found washed up along shorelines and found by fisherman in the area.

We have seen bales of something wrapped in plastic floating by Vermillion Block 22 before. USCG picked it up, but never told us what it was.
All of the Cameron Parish beaches have had it wash up before. But in J.B., who ever finds it, smokes it... LOL

If you've seen it, chances are, so has someone else. Beit the coast guard or the owners. Once upon a time, I woulda grabbed it and hauled arse!!!

BTW, it may have been worth 2.2 mill. They always figure those values at well past "resale value."

About 8 years ago some weed bails washed ashore in Dulac......some local boys were using there skimmer boats to pick them off the top the water, some got caught, some got rich!

I wish I was kidding, but my FIL kinda sorta has a few issues stemming from Vietnam. Lets just say he did the long hair hippie thing a little bit, and there are many pics of him and his buds in 'nam toking.
