I had a 2010 ford and after 70,000 miles i had all kind of problems. Changed the AC condensor and power steering cooler twice. This is the same part. The ford warrenty and service was crap. I just got a 2014 Chevy and love it so far.

"IF" you think about gambling on a GM, there will be 3 out of 5 on the lot that vibrate.

the vibrations start around 70mph for most and they do vary so some its 80 and some its 65 or 75 but the important thing to point out is that even people who tested for vibrations and "thought" they had a good truck had the vibrations start only after several thousand miles.

beyond the vibration issues there are many other issues going on.

I would suggest you look at ford or dodge and not go anywhere near a GM truck, the 2014's and the 2015's have the same unresolved issues but at least the 2015's got rid of the HD radio so at least the radios work in the 2015's.

Dodge is still at the top of my list. I have a 2011 durango with the hemi. Pulls my boat with no problems 30 hp less than the truck too

On my 2nd Chevy i had which was a 2008 model my alternator went out and I had 82k miles. Truck was not even 3 years old at the time. On my next Chevy which was a 2011 model my dash board developed a major Crack in it after not even 2 years.

I own a new GMC.... Have owned Chevy or GMC's all of my life; wife too! Will not be purchasing another. Vibration issues, truck leans to driver side and dealer states that it is all normal and according to the specifications. Brother just purchased a Ford and I drove it just to see if i like it...... and i love it! Will be purchasing a ford in the future!

Guys I have a heads up for y'all stay away from the new diesels no matter the brand they are all loaded with problems due to government mandated pollution controls! There are no brands immune to these problems.

My next truck is gonna be a dodge or a toyota. I just hit 170000 on my tacoma, with only regular maintenance and I pull boats all over the state

Chevy Dodge GMC Toyota Trucks

Pick a city start there, tow your boat to X city record you milage etc. Lets say lafayette to Calcasieu point.
1. gas up the truck

2. Follow the same route To cal point in Lake charles. reset gas milage at ambassadors Caffrey and I10.

3. Everyone has to pull at the same speed, Say 65 mph

4. Once everyone is in the lot at cal point we take notes see who did what. Etc what you guys think? Forget watching utube videos

then they tried to even do away with the ranger, dacota, and Colorado, but thank goodness they are bringing those truck line options back finally.

if you want what used to be considered a "normal" full sized truck then look at the Colorado or the canyon, it measures the same as the 1998 chevy 1500 truck and sits at the same ride height.

also the new tacoma are the same size as the full size chevy 1500 was back in the late 90's.

I can tell you pulling my boat, which weighs around 4500lbs boat/motor/trailer, I get 10 mpg going from my house to Cal point via I-10 @ 70mph

Where do you get your information? You do know we can all Google, even though looking at the pic of the guy standing in a super crew Colorado is all the co formation we need to call BS
