I don't have a lot of time with school stuff starting tomorrow, but I read this thread and I cannot believe nobody has mentioned the vaccine.

An ounce of prevention gentlemen. If you own a dog, get it the parvo vaccine. There's really no excuse not to. I worked for a vet for years and people brought their dogs in all the time with it. They were always asked why they didn't have the vaccine. Most of them said, "Costs too much". Well idiot, now you're paying a LOT more to try to save the dog or put it to sleep. I had to be "sent to the showers" several times because I wanted to punch these idiots out! Pay for the shots!!!!!!!!

I mentioned the vaccine in one of my posts.
If I am not mistaken, it was a 3 shot vaccine.
My pup got it right after the first shot.

yep..just got finish wit my yellow lab it was a 3 round shot 1 a month and was not cheap but worth it
