I hit them once pretty good ball. We in a league where the league supplies the ball and we use Baden Luxom, they okay, I'm 8-10 so far this season in 3 games.

They eventually took the T4000 off the market. A dude down in Florida got hit right above his heart and it stopped his heart and he croaked right on the mound. The ball was quick but it wouldn't track true. I've still got a couple of broken fingers from that ball. We used to put them suckers in a microwave. We baked 'em so long.....I've actually seen 'em come out of the wrapper in mid-air. Ever baked a softball? It makes a difference.

I heard of people doing that, now days they like putting them in a freezer. My bat came with a warranty disclaimer , you can't use it in weather temperatures less than 60 degrees or it will void the warranty!!

Freezin' it ain't squat compared to a microwave. It dries out the core and makes the ball much lighter. Gotta be careful, tho, that the seams don't open. They'll throw it out. It'll turn you into a banger in a heartbeat.

Speakin' of smokin'.....here's a story for ya.

I locked my keys in my truck Friday in a parkin' lot in Slidell....with the engine runnin'. My spare key was at home so I commenced to panickin'......cause my cigs were in the truck. After I calmed down, I noticed that I left my driver's window cracked about 2". I thought......what do I have that can reach down there and push one of them buttons? Hmmmmm.......found a tape measure in my tool box. Everytime I tried to push down on the button.....the tape would slip off. Without a smoke, my hands were shakin'. After about 10 minutes of failure, I spied a gas station 200-300 yards across the parkin' lot. I struck out for some smokes and a lighter...all the while with my truck still runnin'. I smoked a couple on the way back, and, FIRST TRY.......open sesame!
