Churn She Drinks My Brand!

Made a long run up the Neches River last night to test run/break in a buddies new lower unit on his catamaran. We made it back to the Rainbow Bridge with a little daylight left, so we decided to make a few casts. About 15 minutes later, I was slow rolling a chartruese Gulp and it just stopped. Classic flounder bite, I stopped the lure, gave it a little slack, gave it a 5 count and set the hook. After almost no fight at all, she was in the net. Best flattie in a long time. Had to cut off the head and tail just to get it to fit into a gallon size Ziplock.

My cheesy berkley spring loaded scale from wal mart said just over 5lbs. But in true texan fashion, she went just over 22 inches. lol
