heard one 2 weeks ago about catching on flukes in some pits somewhere in the back... Can't launch at the public launch though, the lilies are TERRIBLE. Seems like throughout the lake the main running lanes seem to be blocked with lilies. Thats how it was the past 2 weeks at least. Might be cleared up now

Check out kerns, it was clear a week ago. Jake posts on here sometimes he can tell ya. Yellowmouth caught some in there on flukes last weekend I believe

Alot easier to get to those pits by taking the Henderson exit then take your first left by the gas station. This will take you to the levee. Once there take another left and just across the levee there they have 3-4 pits. I havent caught alot there the past few years because there was no grass but 4 years ago we hammered them hard in there when the grass mats were there.

I passed over Henderson on I-10 Sunday. There are several wateways that are completely blocked with Water Hi-son's (sp?)

Been fishing the lake since I was in diapers and never seen the lillys as bad as they are now. They need to do something before it's too late. Sad to see it go to crap. I remember when you could fish from the south end flats to way north of the interstate and catch 3-6 pounds bass on a regular basis.

what can they do besides drain it?

they cant drain it all the way so eventually the hyacinths will return so thats only a temp fix

Caught good in Kerns and The bute larose cannal 2 weeks ago......pitch and flip the brush in the butte and I promise you will catch fish
