water at the beach was not bad man but the S wind will start blowing a little today, Channel will prob be a better bet.

Not very often and when the water get good, it usually does not last long.

Good conditions only happen about 5 to 15 times a year and sometimes clear calm water only last a few hours. Other times good weather conditions might last a few days.

This is why you see some people getting excited because the beach water has had a few "good" days in the past week.

Ahh ok. Well hopefully the good days fall on my off days from work.

Is it worth the time going out there when the waters dirty?

Don't waste you time if conditions are not good.

Getting to Holly beach is a little over an hour drive for me and I have been there a few times when it was suppose to be good.......and did not even take the fishing poles out of my truck because the wind was blowing hard out of the south and the water was muddy.

If we get some more north winds, it will get good again. If not, then July - Sept, when winds get real light, it can get REAL good.
