Not so far, I've mixed them in a zip lock. No issue yet...

Nice job on the baits and working to solve the problems. I have used vudu and had it melt but don't throw it often, once the issues are worked out I can see myself throwing it more often. May I suggest using a better package? I wouldn't have a problem leaving them in the original package, but I think an issue is when we change lures and just throw them into a pile of lures we are using that day (if switching it up to see what they want).

Maybe something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/plastic-stor...1070%26ps%3D54

Havent tried any yet,and not sure what kind of finish they have(like an oily finish or with a scent) Just wondering if anyone has tried storing them in bags with baking soda or baby powder. Used to store some spinnerbait skirts like that to keep them from melting together. Seemed to work for that.

Is the plastic you are using a 1 part system or is there a catalyst? I'm sure that would be a starting point. I think you could get away with another type of plastic being used to make the bait also

If they were jelly and legs missing what makes them not catch fish. I would never put baits like that in tackle treys bc I keep those kinda baits in the box they came in. That away you don't loses the pair. And it hides it from your friend that takes the last one when y'all whacking em. Lol. Happened to me.jmo

Ken, Thank you for an excellent line of lures and your professionalism. I own all of the Egret line of baits.
I have bought over 30 Vudu packs in all colors and shared them with my friends including a couple of guides who had not seen them around 60 days ago.

All reports are good and the hooks have not been a problem, even on reds over 20 lbs - that said I can see if some guy is fishing 50lb braid and horsing a stud red on no drag, then maybe.

I did use some 'smelly jelly' on one Gold Vudu and it was fine. Just an fyi there.

Good luck to you and thanks for the great line of baits.

I use procure shrimp gel with no problems on my Vudu's

10% of the fishermen catch 90% of the fish

I keep some on my center console, some in my tackle box, some in a front compartment, some in my fishing room in my house, some in my leaning post and some in my truck back seat.
I never had one melt yet.
Only issue I had was I lost a weight off of one.
I didn't have any issues with fish straightening out the hooks, but I have bent them trying to get them out of a Red's jaw.
I have caught a Black Tip Shark last week and didn't bend the hook.
None have ever broken off or slid up or downt he hook.
I have lost them due to broken lines or leaders.
I got a free bag of mixed colors last fall and still have them under my leaning post, chipping away at them one at a time, with no real issues yet.
You get your money's worth, cause they don't tear up.

I guess they Changing them for no good reason then. I throw them on 10lb super slick and a med light rod and bent hooks on 15" trout. Any lighter rod and I'd have to use my sacalit poll. Guess I'm just a beast.

But that being said the light hook does yield easier penetration and with a light drag its fine especially for flounder. If they had a couple dif models it would solve a lot but you can't please everyone but egret tries like hell and that's awesome to me. Keep it up guys.

Glad you brought that up. A zip lock really is the best way to store them, so we are looking a really nice bag that way you can keep them in the bag safe from PVC. Good thinkin
