Default Lake P 12/12

Me and my brother smashed our 50 trout today on causeway, 3/8 oz. jighead in any color as long as it was opening night did the trick. This batch of causeway trout was a little smaller on average than earlier week catches but still nice fish 13-20 inch.

Glad you're starting to hammer them! Most of my trout fishing (Florida east coast) is in less than 2 feet of water. My son and I fished the Lake P causeway with a guide several years ago. That was some of the most fun and challenging trout fishing I've ever done.

No doubt it's not for everyone, the bridge is hot right now but can be a grind to catch a nice box of fish.

nice catch, we tried the wall today with only 6 trout to show. BUT... we did tag and release 29 trout and one large redfish
