Looking for a new GPS for the boat, wondering what you guys are using ? Any advice on where to look and what type, brand name you really like. Looking for a mid range price wise, but user friendly, thanks guys and gals

I have a simrad nss7, and I really like it. Not sure what you mean by mid priced, but it would probably cost you around $800-1000 plus install

how much money are you looking to spend and how big of a unit are you looking for? I have the Humminbird Helix 5 Di/GPS its a 5" with downimaging and they are prices around 350-450 depending on options.

I am looking for a inboard (flush mount)hoping to spend $1000 or less not sure about size. All is want is, GPS (way points), depth finder, water temp the usual package no fancy stuff.

What size tho? If u want a flush mount most go with atleast a 10"... thats over 1k

Elite, or smaller HDS series from Lowrance would be my suggestion.

Elite if you dont want sidescan, HDS if you do. Trust me, you want sidescan.

With the release of the HDS Gen3s the Gen2s Price has dropped.

If you want simple and user friendly go garmin, if you want to get fancy Lowrance or simrad

Lowrance is the 💣. I love my touch screen and structure scan. I Will up grade to the 9 later this year and put the 7 in the bow! 😎

Bout to get the wifi module for mine and just get an iPad in a lifeproof with a ram mount for the front.

Ended up getting Garmin 741xs . Have not installed it yet hope to be using it soon. thanks for all the info guys
