Default Holly Beach over the wekend.

Glad I descided to go! Water was a little merky, and the south wind made the surf a little choppy, but ultimately not too bad. Brought my brother-in-law, wifes uncle, and her cousin. I knew we would have to fish the bottom to really catch anything so I sat back and did my fishing from the Ice chest and let the wifes unlce and son have the fun. The first hook up of the morning was a massive 44in. red. I had the time of my life watching his boy fight that thing in. They dont really do the whole fishing thing much, so you can emagine the excitement in his face when he saw how big this fish was. We caught a few more reds after that in the 20in + range. Between watching them have fun, good food on the pit, cold beer in my hand, and loads of B.S. bing passed around like a bunch of old men gathered around a campfire, it was a great day.

No, no trout. It was more of a set the lines down and just let them sit kind of a day. Used shrimp and finger mullet on caralina rigs. Had the canapy up, music playin, it was relaxin. We did fish pretty hard foe a buzz though...
