Default Second VA hunt

Well had nothing else to do besides play golf today and I suck at that so I decided to go huntin again. Got to the place around 3 only to realize that I need gas... And quick! Left and made a 9 mile sputtering journey to the border station on the NC, Va border. Got back around 4 and loaded up and made the trek across the same cutover. Decided to make a impromptu blind out of pine limbs and sat on another fresh cut pine stump a little closer to where I saw her walk yesterday. Went about 2 hours without seeing anything until a flapping ear caught the corner of my eye. Same doe I shot at yesterday. Only this time did I see that her fawn still had spots. Got a few pictures of them walking to about 25 yards. Decided to let momma walk and wait and see what else came. Heard what sounded like fawns yelling just beyond the trees but never did see them. Still haven't located a tree or a suitable flat area for some kind of blind. Probably gonna be there all 4 days of next weekend to see what I can stick.

Do you live in the barracks? Where do you keep your gear? What will you do if you kill a deer? When I lived in the barracks we were not allowed to keep hunting gear and certainly didn't have anywhere to store meat. I had a Canoe I stored at a friends house and used to fish all over. I'd have to give away my fish because I didn't have any way to keep it. Great pics. Keep it up.

I kept my bow in the barracks when I was stationed at Cherry Point, N.C. I hunted almost everyday of the season. When I killed a deer I gave it to friends that lived off base.
