Default tragic news

Just found out that my neighbors son was one of the guys that were missing from that rig out in the mexican gulf. He was among the few that they found today, but he didnt make it. I think he was only 32. Im not sure why they were still left out there. I think the owners son is still missing also. Our thoughts and prayers will be with His family.

My wife's cousin is one of the guys that was found (Ted Derise, Jr.). HE never even got in a boat!!! He was in the water for 3 days until they found him and a couple others. He even held onto one of the guys that had died until they got to em. He seems to be doing fine now, just badly bruised, cut and sun burned.

golly man.. thats terrible. Imagine being in those shoes and how it must of felt holding on to a friend that had passed, but knowing that the family will be sad of the loss but proud of the friend for doing what he did so that the family could see him again. Prayers go out to all of the involved

Default BAD

Speck

Speaking as a Safety Consultant. Don't know why they didn't get that jack-up boat TO PORT when the storm FORMED!!!

The captain should have made that decision, NOT the client. It's a shame(NEEDLESS) someone has to die before safety policies change or get implemented.
