Cheers Du Trout Busting 7-9-14

Logan Fowler was back onboard with his buddies Logan Breaux and Victor Allain. Storms had the gulf covered this morning so we had to stay inside and wait for a while. Once the radar cleared we were off to the trout grounds. A little chop to the seas but nothing like it has been. The Bluewave sliced the waves like butter!! Our first and second stop found a slow bite. Our third stop struck silver!! The spotted sea trout could not resist our double rigged Matrix Shad and were jumping into the K2. Today's fish bit real finicky. You had to let the baits sit and drift and give it a twitch, no twitch = no bite. Avocado Matrix worked best today and we found the fish would only hit baits that were on a chartreuse colored jig head. A handful of fish hit the plain lead jigs but their preference was chartreuse (them fish are something!!). Good times by all and we slimed and bloodied up the Bluewave big time. Plenty sharks out today eating our fish also. Thanks again guys for a great day.
