and... the water was super dirty.. We went Sunday in the freezing cold rains and caught only 2 redfish. We were in the truck for 9:00, did see a trout chasing some bait, he came completely out the water.. Couldn't get him though.

Went Sunday. Got on the water at about noon and got run out by T-storm at about 2. Reds were biting ok, no trout.

Can someone give me some advice on a few areas in the bay that hold reds besides the island. I do we'll with trout but never really catch any reds. What kinda conditions and tides are best. Thanks if anyone can help.

Shark bayou would be your best bet, look for moving water and fish along the bank.
