Default Trawling V-bay

Trying to make it out there Saturday I've been working this week and just looking for any advice if anybody has gone? Thinking about heading out of intracoastal city or launching out of cypremort or burns point to try the east end of marsh island. Pulling a 25ft trawl.

I heard from several people east side of marsh island they are catching real good. Got a friend with a 20ft net said he was pulling 75lbs every 25 mins.

We pulled mostly around the point, near the cove and out to dry reef. Had a small troll (16ft) and not much experience. We pulled about 25 pounds every 45 minutes. Everyone that had bigger trolls that I talked to did 2-3 time better than us. Still better than work!

If you ever get on a boat pushing skimmers you will never want to pull a trawl again.

I can believe that. Pulling that thing in choppy water ain't very easy on a small boat.
