Default Laccassine or Calcasieu River?

looking to possibly go bass fishing this afternoon. have not been to either of these places in over a year. any recent reports?

i agree. i haven't fished the river in quite a while. anyone have any suggestions? don't even know where to start.

West Fork.... fool knows that area. I have done pretty well there when the wind isn't 20mph. Flippin creature baits.

THE POOL! Stick to the canals on the west side and you will not get stuck or burn anything up. Why anyone wouldn't want to go there right now is crazy. All the fish are drawn down in the canals! Concetrated and there for the taking. I love the river but right now I am 100% pool.

only reason to hit the river is if you cant go some where better, been in the pool several times this yr and not one prob with water

as stated earlier fish canels, stay further west and i will add look for clean water. me and my buddys been fishin water melon sinko, brushhog, and lizzards in pads slow and even out in the middle of canels

Sorry guys. Things came up this afternoon and didn't has time to go out to laccassine and didn't want to get run over by dogfighters on the river. Thanks for the input. I'll put it to use soon.
