Default Hawking in Louisiana

I had no idea the sport of Hawking existed in Louisiana however it is alive and well. Did you know there is a species of Hawk that is social and hunts together like a wolf pack? It was an incredible sight to witness and experience.

Story and pictures at http://tfinnie.blogspot.com/

Hope you enjoy,
Tom

Thanks for your kind and encouraging words. It is always a pleasure sharing with the fine outdoorsman on Salty Cajun and I am glad you like the pictures and story. It isn't as good as being there but it is the next best thing.

Much appreciated,
Tom

A friend of mine catches and trains them. Short vid of his two birds. http://youtu.be/vs1rf3QYNW0 One year he said they caught right at 200 rabbits. Runs two long haired dachshunds while they sit above in the trees.
