Default Trout line in bl

I so a boat wed. Checking a trout line on commissary point, does anyone know what they are fishing for? It looked like a crabbing boat. Every fish I saw them pull up they threw back in. First time I've ever seen a trout line out there.

They sure had some big *** gar...had one over 6ft said he had to chase the jug because it popped of the rest of lines ... he might of had the drum in his cooler and just had gar laying in boat

I guess they could fishing for both really. I've seen them loading up on Black Drum but I'm sure they are catching gar fish also.

I wonder which one is their target species.
