Just returned from Beaumont Academy and restocked my gulp inventory and few other essentials needs. I don't like to bash a dealership , but the LC Academy can't hold a candle to the Beaumont or Lafayette stores.Man I know we have better saltwater fishin Than these two area's; So come on Academy Give us a super store.

Default Tuff Weekend

For those of you who didnt make to the lake this weekend you didnt miss anything. The bite was almost nonexitent. This was the worse weekend fishing I have had since winter. We managed to catch some trout and reds, but had to work harder than ever for em. The only thing that saved the trip was one of my buddies caught a 6.52 trout. I guess really strong tides, and extremely high water most of the week has it screwed up. I also talked to several commercial fisherman I know and they been havin a hard time with the shrimp and crabs. I baited two crab trabs at our dock and let em soak all weekend to only catch two crabs. Hope it gets better next week. Good luck everyone..................
