I think you have to put in for a draw to get a tag, you may be too late, not sure.

I went to Wyoming on an antelope hunt. Going on mule deer hunt in Utah this October. Never been whitetail hunting outside LA or TX. But like someone else said, post this same question on bayou bucks and they should have some good info for u. I got alot of big deer hunting buddies on there that I can't get to come over here.

Bayoubucks is nothing but killas. 24/7/365 in the woods. Fishing is what I do when all hunting seasons are over. Most over there are either killing pigs or practicing for next season. My hunting grounds are 3 hours away and I can't afford to go during the summer. No cry babies over there. They help people launch. Not cry over it.

This is the first year in my life I'm not in a hunting club. The rising cost of R.O.M. hunting property has forced me out. I guess I'll be hunting family and public land.

Paying the bills is more important at the moment. Hopefully I can find a deal on a used one before then.

I feel for you bro....I have never hunted public land, hopefully never will. We have be lucky to be in a lease for the last 14 years with yearly dues never above 550. I hope we never loose it,put alot of work into it.

At the moment my budget would be free! lol I might get a base model PSE for around 400 bucks new if I can swing it before the season starts. I heard good things about the stinger HP,good price too.
