Question for ya.

You had 2 strikes on your first lure, then switched to another. Why? I would have not switched lures after having 2 strikes.

Apparently it worked out well for you, but I'm just curious and trying to learn more. Thanks.

I was using that top water bait as sort of a locator. I believe that at certain times it entices a reaction from far and wide. I often use it to locate. Sometimes they are eating it, sometimes they are just striking it. They weren't eating it Saturday but I knew they were there. So, I switched to the suspended twitch bait. Would have thrown ten different baits in that area before giving up. Lucky for me the second one worked.
