...small craft advisory in effect from 7 am this morning to 7 pm cdt wednesday...
The national weather service in new orleans has issued a small craft advisory...which is in effect from 7 am this morning to
7 pm cdt wednesday.
Winds will increase to 15 to 25 knots today and continue through at least early wednesday. Seas will increase to 6 to 9 feet overnight tonight and continue through much of wednesday before conditions ease.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A small craft advisory means that wind speeds of 20 to 33 knots are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Inexperienced mariners... Especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.

Yea, it's still raining here in Lafayette. I can't stand driving in the rain on my way to work in the mornings. An 18 wheeler took out the light pole by the McDonald's in Broussard.

I came thru right afterwards. If he wouldn't have hit that pole he would have went into oncoming traffic! That was a pretty bad azz pole, it had the front of the 18 wheeler off the ground, tore the wheel & axle out.
