Default BL 6/21

Decided to give it a try this morning. Headed thru Texaco and went south headed for the Washout area. Came up on some birds picking. Caught 20 or so fish but only 9 keepers. Headed to the Washout again. Water was so so. Headed south. Got to the jetties and the water was decent, but no fish.

Hero or zero time.

Hooked up and headed west.

LOTS of grass in the area. Rocks was a little too rough and didn't really clean up. Went to the Johnson Bayou rigs. Water was BEAUTIFUL. Could see my bait down 8' or so.

Nothing but mackerel and jacks, with an occasional shark.

Headed in to make one last check of the rocks. Pulled up on the last set to the west. Had 3 or 4 live shrimp left, plug came out of livewell. Caught 3 trout on live then that was it.

Water was decent at the far west rocks. If the wind will lay a bit, it will be on.

I threw TW in the birds to get some bigger fish. Had 2 good trout pull off and caught 3 or 4. None on the beach.
