My dearest dubyah, when you are as wealthy as these families are they can't afford to have random people on their property. People like this become a target because of their money, and while I'm sure they really don't care about someone fishing in a canal near their property, they will care when said person is trespassing, hurts themselves, and turns around and sues the landowner.

Don't blame them, blame the lawyers.

If they do not want us fishing in their canals. They should have to dam up the canals. Louisiana's laws suck.

100% right

If these crying land owners are so worried about someone on there land that is under water

Then they better put up a sign or gate or levee!!

If it's navigable....its catch me if you can!!

There were plenty of Haynies and people in Black lake yesterday, along with several people getting asked to "Get outta here" behind the levees yesterday, I seen it with my own eyes 5 different times.
we had about 10 trout and 3 reds (all day) Saturday, Friday we had 25 trout and 3 reds, (most were sub par in size)I was there the last two days, doing some customer relations, don't ask me why I didn't stay on Sabine.

A sign nor a gate is acceptable to me. If u gonna bar the public from using it then u have no right to the publics resources. Dam it up or let us at our resources that belong to everyone.
