Awesome rig, and looks like you're able to still pull it with a 1/2 ton truck, I'm guessing the triple axles along with that hitch make enough difference on the weight distribution.

Yeah that old Chevy will pull just about anything. It didn't like it but it would pull it. The trailer does help I think. I've since upgraded to a 3/4 ton diesel and that works a whole lot better.
