Default Wind on Big Lake

How hard is the wind blowing on Big Lake today?
I made it half way there and turned around. The signs on the interstate where twisting it was blowing so hard.

Great decision, I went yesterday afternoon knowing what I was getting myself into beforehand, and I should have just stayed home. Caught a few fish but definitely not worth the hassle. I was scheduled to go this morning but decided to sleep in today instead. Way too windy. Plus, the lake looked like the chocolate river on Willy Wonka yesterday.

Yea, I really wanted to go fishing. Its no fun when you have to fight the wind all day long. It doesn't look any better for tomorrow.

The wind beat my azz this morning, shut it down at 11, needed to kill some time in Sulphur so I checked out The Tackle Box, very nice place.

They have several areas you can fish. With high winds and South wind is the best for most spots.... You might catch a lot or not but u can fish

I know how you feel. I only get to fish the weekends cause I work all week. Sometimes get Friday off. And the wind blows like this.
