Looks like you got your mojo back and had a great morning.
I added slicks to my bunk boards and they work great. Sometimes a little too great. At the BOB and Gibbstown South launches, sometimes while loading the boat I get the bow up to the winch and start sliding backward. I devised a rope that I hook to the winch stand and tie to my trailer where I can reach it by hand. I then use the rope to pull tension while walking to the bow to hook the winch strap to the boat. (This is only when I'm by myself). They say necessity is the mother of invention. In this case, embarrassment was the mother. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It's great to be back out there.
I love the new bunks, they center better and they're not so slick that it shoots off. I can walk up without it moving. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The next cut down the river on the west side is Brenam Bayou. (Sounds like you were fishing Watson Bayou). Reportedly, it's a hot spot but I've never gotten up that far to fish it yet.
