Default Toledo Bend - Negreet 4/7

Ended up with 12 fish total Sunday morning. All caught in 15 ft of water. Here are the 5 of the 8 keepers that I caught. All in Negreet.

this is true. i spent all day fixing my FIL's boat and managed a 1 hr afternoon trip... the wind was crazy bad saturday. I saw 10 boats total fish our little creek. There are NO fish back in it. I fished Arnolds sat afternoon but i spent more time fighting wind than fishing, so i called it quits after an hour or so.

We fished way south and there were boats everywhere. Bad weather day as well. We stayed shallow all day. Going back for a tourney this Saturday. Have no idea where to go.

i was there most of last week for the louisiana oilmans tourny, did really good even thought it was was cold and windy wed and thurs. Friday we caught our 5 fish and culled a few times within an hour after sun up. casting flukes up in the shallows(1-2ft), in the most thickest grass, stick'ups we could find .Mid morning till time to stop fishing, with the clear and sunny skies we had we backed off to fish 5-10ft of water with rouges and flukes rigged with a split shot. didnt catch many fish deeper but we did cull with some nicer fish. Saturday was a lil tougher with the wind, caught some fish early but not many keepers. we managed our 5 and only culled with 2 other fish all day. had a great weekend in toledo, wed afternoon we also caught a few nice crappie on blue and with jig. bass were caught in patroon and the crappie were caught in lanan
