Default Any Beach Reports?

Just wondering if anyone has seen what the water looks like on the Cameron beaches the last couple of days. I know the specks have to be there if the water has at least some clarity. I'm thinking about going to the Cameron Pier beach and fish the surf by the jetties tomorrow so any input would be most welcome.

I'd think they are there as long as the wind doesn't kill it. Should have decent salinity now as well. Good luck.

I may try early tomorrow morning being the jetty pier facility opens at 6 rather than 7 am. That hour makes all the difference in the world since it starts getting pretty hot around 10 am. I was also thinking about Rutherford beach if the wind isn't too bad.

I tried in my yak last Friday. Was there before the sun came up. Caught a 3 foot shark (released) and a bunch of hard heads. The water was not muddy, but not clear either. It was very salty; but no specks. Tried live and artificial bait. Left around 9:30 as it was getting too hot.
