Default Curado vs Citica

Is the extra cost of the Curado worth it over the Citica? Does it cast a 1/8 oz or 1/4 oz jig with plastic that much easier or further than the Citica? I'm looking to pull the trigger on a new reel. Does anyone know how the smallest Calcutta D50? casts compared to Curado/Citica? I only mention the Calcutta D because of the anti-rust bearings.

I have and use both and I think the curado is quite a bit better. However, the citica is a great reel also. I use the citicas for bass fishing which I don't do that often so they don't see as much action. They are not as smooth as the curado and I don't think they cast as far. Is the price difference worth it? Depends what you are paying for the reels. W can you sell them to you at a good price so I would go with the curado. If you are paying regular price I would go with the citica. You can get two new citicas online for around 190 which is a smoking deal in my opinion. For under 100 the citica cannot be beat.

Comparing a Curado to the Citica is like comparing the Curado to the Chronarch!! Recently bought a Chronarch and I wish I had not, since I want to get rid of all my Curados now!
I have 3 Curados and they are well worth the extra $$$ compared to the Citica. However, for $100 the Citica is hard to beat!!!

I am pretty much set now on the Curado E7. How do you guys keep your bearings from rusting out? Never drop it in the saltwater and they should be okay?
