Like the article said not sure why they choose to kill blue marlin rather than release them down in mexico.

A lot of times after a long battle a massive bill fish like that just can't be revived....not saying that's the case but that's the case sometimes....

I Billfished in southern Mexico before and we only kept the fish that were hooked deep and would otherwise die anyway. But they do eat that down there.

good looking fish...if they didnt kill it and released it i wonder if it would have lived long enough to get more bigger and heavier than 900 pounds....
