Default Tide Charts for Big Lake

The only marker close to big lake that I can find is Cal Pass. Is that the one most people use for checking the tide charts? If so, how long of a time delay in tidal movement until it gets to big lake? For instance, the chart shows low tide at 6am at cal pass, what time would it hit Hebert's landing?

I don't like using the predicted tides from these charts. There are so many factors that play into tides like winds, high pressures, low pressures etc. that I like to use real time data recorders from the area to see exactly what the tides have been doing the past couple days and I use that to tell what the tides will do the following day. Here is the link. Scroll down to the calcasieu, mermentau, vermilion basin section. The last 3 links in that section will be of help to you.

That's cool but I wish they would also include Calcasieu Lake near Hackberry 08017095. Maybe it's because there are not predictions for that site. To me that is the most useful site. It's interesting to observe the actual levels vs their predictions. The NOAA predictions are slightly different than the published charts but some days when the winds are high even the NOAA predictions are off by several feet.
